How every study hour works

The hour, in four blocks

0–10 · Recall

Answer yesterday's questions and say the key terms out loud with no notes. Retrieval is what makes it stick.

10–40 · Learn

One topic only. Watch or read, then write notes in English in your own words. Short lines, one per service.

40–55 · Apply

Do something real: a console task, a drawing, or the questions below. Delete anything that costs money.

55–60 · Log

Write three things you learned and one thing that still feels shaky. Tomorrow's recall starts there.

Your main sources AWS Skill Builder: search "Cloud Practitioner Essentials" (free, official, has videos) ↗ Overview of Amazon Web Services whitepaper (the exam's "textbook") ↗ Official exam guide and in-scope services ↗ Video option: Stephane Maarek's Cloud Practitioner course on Udemy, or the free freeCodeCamp course on YouTube. Practice exams: Tutorials Dojo or Maarek on Udemy.

Week 3 days are practice exams. Those take about 2 hours, so put them on weekends if you can. Keep a free tier account with a $5 budget alert for the hands-on parts.
